"Perfect Fit", August 13, 2006, Pat O. Hayden, (Phoenix, AZ)   Thanks to the suggestion of a friend, I just finished reading an exciting new romantic novel by a new author.  It gave me the opportunity to see two emotionally devastated individuals come together in a "once in a lifetime" relationship.  We can all relate to the heartbreak that Lee and Annie are forced to face because of failed emotional commitment.  Some of us are "survivors" and heal by becoming the strength that others need.  Others cannot climb back without finding that one strong individual who can help them overcome the crushing grief they face.  For Lee and Annie, they found the "perfect fit."  For the reader who's been there before...you find the "perfect book" in "Shipwright".  Don't miss the opportunity to read it!

“pleasant surprise”, June 28, 2006, Harry L. Hooper "Tallyman" (Tallahassee, FL), I bought this book because I like anything written about boats and anything written about the Chesapeake Bay. Imagine my surprise when, upon reading it, I learned that I had purchase a romantic novel. It was a novel that I had difficulty putting down.
     The primary characters are emotionally wounded people who interact in a small boatyard with the result that each heals the agonies of the other. The novel is rich with knowledge of boats, medicine, and human nature. The author seems expert in all of these fields. The change in the protagonists, which occurs in fits and starts, leaves the reader wondering until the end just how things are going to evolve.
     If you like good writing, and enjoy a good tale, read Shipwright.

“Shipwright is all right”, June 26, 2006, Cullen T. Humphrey Jr. (Oak Ridge, TN)  A Good romantic story with several well done twists in the plot. Characters you come to like and cheer for as they overcoming some very difficult personal challenges. Delightful setting with a strong nautical flavor and rustic charm. Excellent technical information about boat yard and shipwright work coupled with sailing and navigating small boats on the Chesapeake Bay.

King (Tennessee) Shipwright is an enchanting novel by a new author that is rich in detail reflecting the author's personal knowledge of sailing combined wih research into every area of the book. The book brings unforgettable characters together into a compelling love story intertwined with humor...
