Rowboat

*

(literary fiction, contemporary, manuscript nearing completion)

excerpt

How can a right-brained, emotionally insecure watercolor artist with an obsession for rowboats promise to save the life of a man crushed in a freak accident?   Hunter, a totally left-brained engineer, underestimates Morgan's determination.  Rowboat is a story of persistence and family relationships.

Skipjack

*

(contemporary, story board completed)

 story line

Limited by the terms of a restrictive trust established by his wealthy but unsympathetic father, Bryne lives at a marina, on a converted Skipjack, an oyster dredging sailboat... and he lives in Jimmy Buffett style. But, there are the two little girls, Savannah and Caroline, not his, that get unexpectedly dumped on him.  His discretionary funds take a dive.  This is absolutely not the plan he had mapped out for his life.  Byrne cannot do this alone.
